Colorectal cancer (CRC) is one of the most frequently diagnosed cancers. The good news is that CRC incidence and mortality can be reduced significantly if detected early enough.

Faecal immunochemical tests (FIT) are non-invasive and can detect blood in stool invisible to the naked eye. Due to its simplicity, FIT is currently considered the best non-invasive test for CRC screening.

XN-9000 - the new standard in haematology

The XN-9000 is the largest core model of the XN-Series, offering the highest degree of automation and seamless scalability. It is intended for labs with higher throughput needs.

Its fundamental components include at least two XN analysis modules, plus at least one slide maker /stainer module, the SP-10. As customer situations and needs vary significantly, we offer the XN-9000 in different core configurations, all of which are modular and scalable to best suit individual needs.

XN-9000 Compact Integration

In addition to modules for analysis and the SP-10 stainer, the XN-9000 Compact Integration configuration includes a front side return line for tube transfer to the exit point. This configuration is ideal for straight haematology processing whereby sample types are quite uniform.

XN-9000 Sorting & Archiving

XN-9000 Sorting & Archiving

In addition to the SP-10 and XN analysis modules, the XN-9000 Sorting & Archiving configuration contains a tube sorter module; either the TS-500 or TS-2000, depending on the sorting speed and capacity required at the end of the workflow. As a result, no return line is required. This configuration suits those labs with a uniform sample workload and a need for sample sorting prior to archiving or other analyses from the EDTA tubes.

XN-9000 Workload Balance

XN-9000 Workload Balance

The XN-9000 Workload Balance configuration is best suited to labs with a range of sample types that need special analyses, since here the tube sorter module (TS-500 or TS-2000) is situated at the start of the workflow. Samples are sorted prior to analysis so that rack loading and processing speed are optimised, and analyser capacities are used fully. For tube transfer to the exit point, a backside return line is included in this configuration.

XN-9000 Maximum Workload

Finally, for extremely high workloads we offer the XN-9000 Maximum Workload. Fundamentally this is a combination of two different XN-9000s connected via a tube sorter. This allows a wide range of options and configurations, such as a combination of one XN-9000 for mass processing routine samples, and one that deals with special samples using the full diagnostic spectrum offered by the clinical value APPs and smear making/staining.
