Sysmex Educational Enhancement and Development

SEED stands for ‘Sysmex Educational Enhancement and Development’. To understand how we intend these bulletins to be used, it may be best to take the implicit meaning of the word seed, however ‒ a substrate for growth. SEED is an educational platform that can be used to 'grow knowledge'. It recognises the growing call for medical education in the field of laboratory medicine.

By publishing SEED articles on a regular basis, we would like to create awareness. Enhance awareness about how to best use and implement laboratory tests, how to enhance clinical care, and ensure that laboratory results are generated under proper, strict quality-assured conditions. We must always keep the patient in the back of our minds. In line with our mission – ‘Shaping the Advancement of Healthcare’ – we see ourselves as partners in healthcare, and not just suppliers of laboratory equipment.
